LARES TREK 4D/3N

A beautiful traditional town, colorful, and full of breath-taking landscapes can be found in the Valley of Lares. Lagoons appear suddenly from behind giant mountains capped by glaciers and llamas and alpacas graze the surrounding hills. Guided by children and sometimes accompanied by women with their colorful skirts and braids in their hair, a true taste of traditional Andean dress...  This trek will leave you with unforgettably wonderful memories. The steps are high, the nights are cold and the clear evening skies ablaze with stars. Spend a few days surrounded by the pure magic of the Andes and it’s people in the Lares Valley, a unique and spectacular cultural experience encompassed by nature.

This was a fabulous trip! I would highly recommend Quechua Treks to anyone. Mayra organized the trip beautifully, customizing the trip to our group's desires and different schedules. Zac was a wonderful                              guide who made sure we were all comfortable, well taken care of and having the best possible experience. Zac's knowledge of the history, culture, flora and fauna of Peru was outstanding and added to the enjoyment of our trip. Not to mention his great sense of humor! I would not have changed a thing! I thank Mayra and Zac for an experience of a lifetime!
