CHOQUEQUIRAO TO MACHU PICCHU 7D/6N
This isolated Inca city is situated in the vast landscape of the Vilcabamba Range above the Apurimac River Canyon. Thick forest has covered this Inca site for many years and it has only recently been discovered. Choquequirao was the dwelling of the last rebel Incas of Vilcabamba and similar to Machu Picchu, it is thought that the Spanish never discovered it. The high passes, trekking further on from Choquequirao, afford astonishing views of the Vilcabamba Range. This is a demanding trek traversing diverse ecosystems, culminating in exploring Machu Picchu Citadel, you will not be disappointed!
Zac lead me and my coworkers over 4 days and different trips in order to complete a leadership training program. We absolutely could not have had a better guide. Zac and Wilson were INCREDIBLE. They were knowledgeable, experienced, knew Cusco like the back of their hand and answered more questions than I could imagine. They were patient, kind, helpful, and helped push me through this amazing experience. I could not have done it without them and the experience would never have been the same. I cannot recommend Zac enough. By the end we felt like family! Do not even think twice about booking with Zac and his team, it will be the experience of a lifetime.
