Once again Quechua Treks outdid themselves. I'm not sure James ever sleeps since he was always available to answer any question my group had. He and Mayra did an amazing job coordinating the entire trip. Our guide Cem was an absolute gem!! Loved him! Cem met us the night before, went over the layout of the Park and what to expect on our trek. Patricio our driver met us the next morning with our guide to take us to the Park. Patricio suggested an additional hike that most people don't do and it was a great chance for us to stretch our legs after a long flight and so we jumped at the chance. Amazing, beautiful hike!!! We are all so glad we did it! Great introduction to the Park. Cem was such an amazing guide, full of stories, tips and helpful hints and pointing out cool things along the way. A favorite memory is of Cem, Micky and I on the ground with a flashlight looking in a burrow trying to figure out if it was an armodillo or skunk burrow and if it was in there! We even got to eat fresh berries along the way! The refugios were comfortable and well equipped. My favorite was Cernos, small with amazing views of the surrounding Park and the wine was excellent. The food was amazing at all of them. Thank you so much to Quecha Treks for making this a truly memorable trek that will always hold a special place in my heart. This isn't my first trek with Quechua Treks and it certainly won't be my last. In fact, I have three more treks planned with them, the are certainly top notch!!!
